Josie Maran is an American actress and model born on May 8, 1978 in Menlo Park, California. Josie Maran studied at the Castilleja School in Palo Alto, California. Josie Maran began her modeling career at the age of 12 after being discovered by a modeling scout. Josie Maran later found herself modeling for magazines such as Glamour, and from then she focused in becoming an ad/image model.

Among the first brands Josie Maran endorsed was “GUESS?” and this was followed by a string of commercials and ad campaigns. Josie Maran was once in a relationship with magician David Blaine. Josie Maran is at present in a relationship with photographer Ali Alborzi, and together they have a child, Rumi Joon, born in 2006.
